Almada receives in 2009

The city of Almada, will receive in 2009, the IV Forum and the IV General Assembly of the Inter Local – Cultural Cities Iberoamericana Network - (http://www.redinterlocal.org). The decision was taken in the General Assembly of the Inter Local Network, which took place between the 25 and the 29th of November, in Escazú, Costa Rica.

Established in 2003, and counting with the participation of 64 cities and 20 countries from both sides of the Atlantic, the Inter Local, is an association of cities Iberoamericana, which emerged due to the necessity of sharing experiences in management and cultural politics within a space that competes to local governments. The network will generate more co operational spaces, observatories and laboratories centered in the culture as a transversal element which integrated in the cities and its metropolitan areas.
